This colourful 19th century Meissen monkeyband, originally modelled by J. Kaendler in the 18th century, consists of 21 figures, all very well modelled and decorated. Each monkey with detailed expressions and finely decorated clothes, blue crossed swords to base of each monkey, Meissen c. 1880-1900.
