Two beautiful Meissen groups of young women with putti in attendance, the group representing music sitting under a tree playing the mandolin with two dancing cherubs to her side, the young woman dressed in red robes and flower decorated blouse, the base decorated with highlighted gilded oak leaves and acorns, Meissen crossed swords to base.
The young woman representing literature leaning thoughtfully on an open book, her right hand holding an oak leaf wreath, a putti in attendance holding oak leaves, Meissen crossed swords to base.
Date to both groups: Meissen c. 1870
