A highly decorative French ceramic box decorated in the Sèvres Style with raised gilding to top and sides, the lid decorated with a lady on horseback, her companion standing next to a donkey, the horse drinking from a fountain, the sides to box decorated with cartouches of landscape and raised gilding, the interior with bouquets of flowers and scattered flowers, no mark to base, French c1880-1900.
